Squishy Circuits is for all ages and all creative minds. Developed in 2011 in the Playful Learning Lab at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, this method of teaching electrical circuits with conductive and insulating dough is used for education in classrooms, homes, libraries, and museums worldwide. Students can squish, mold, and sculpt the dough all while engaging in the academic disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and art.
- [STEM/STEAM Learning Tool] – Squishy Circuits uses conductive modeling dough to teach the basics of electrical circuits in a fun, hands-on way. Let your creations come to life as you light them up with LED lights.
- [Starter Kit] – A stand-alone Lite Kit is suited for learning a basic circuit and lights up LEDs. It includes a battery holder, 15 LEDs (5 each of Red, Green, and Blue), and tub of colored conductive dough.
- [Double Your Fun] – The Lite Kit also pairs with our other kits so that another user can participate in Squishy Circuits fun since it includes a battery holder. Each participant will need a battery holder, but can share the components from our larger kits if they have been purchased.
