Helping kids: Montgomery Ward & Co. has joined with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in a multimillion-dollar campaign to reduce the number of missing children. A photo identification passport program, called Project KidCare, is to begin testing in Chicago-area Wards stores Saturday. Parents will be able to have their children’s photos taken and preserved along with the identification information needed to locate a missing child. A television pilot, Our Missing Children, was completed last month and is being shown to network and cable television executives.
