In 1886, Atlanta druggist Dr. John Stith Pemberton mixed the first batch of ingredients for now famous Coca-Cola, In 1899 a candy store owner bottled Coke for the first time in Vicksburg, Mississippi. In 1942, Coca-Cola and artist Haddon Sundblom first introduced the Sprite Boy to help promote the name “Coke”.
